G-MCUV II

The Kase G-MCUV II pushes the boundaries of durability and optical quality. Made with high-precision B270 optical glass, it features an innovative surface treatment that gives it exceptional resistance to impacts and scratches. Successfully tested against repeated drops and direct impacts, it remains intact, ensuring outstanding durability. (Tested with 10 drops of 100 g steel balls from a height of 1.20 m)

Thanks to a next-generation multi-layer coating, the filter reduces surface reflectivity to less than 0.1%, effectively limiting unwanted reflections and ghosting. Whether you’re capturing backlit scenes in broad daylight or urban landscapes at night, it ensures optimal clarity and sharp images with no loss of contrast.

The G-MCUV II blocks UV rays while providing light transmission greater than 99%, ensuring faithful colour reproduction. Compatible with high-resolution photography and 4K/8K video, it meets the demands of even the most discerning photographers and videographers.

Its double hydrophobic and oleophobic coating makes cleaning easier by preventing water droplets, fingerprints and grease stains from sticking. Its surface has a hardness rating of 8H, enhancing its resistance to scratches and wear, while an anti-mould and antibacterial treatment extends its lifespan, even in humid conditions.

The precisely CNC-machined 6063 aluminium alloy frame stands out with its gold anodised finish and elegant 3D diagonal pattern, combining strength, slimness and refinement.
